I am Carol Spencer, based in Queensbury, West Yorkshire. I been in the creative industry for over 35 years and started drawing pet portraits in 2020.
All pet portraits are drawn in coloured pencil (occasionally graphite) using the highest quality, lightfast pencils and surfaces available.
Commissioning a portrait can seem a little daunting, so here's my quick 'how to' guide:
• Contact me using the links here! This will ensure that I will reply and answer any questions that you may have
• Send me your photos! We can work together to draft up an idea with a size and price to suit you!
• Once happy with a draft idea, a deposit secures your spot, and the drawing begins! Each portrait takes 2-4 weeks to complete depending on size and detail.
• With lots of progress photos along the creative journey and a final sign off (with the outstanding balance payable) it's time to enjoy your art!
All my portraits are supplied mounted on thick card, within a card frame surround and placed in a protective sleeve. Post and packaging are included in the price (Uk only)

Perfect puppy portraits! So glad I discovered Carols animal drawing service, she expertly drew our old Chihuahuas, of which 3 of them have sadly passed on. This was a gift for my Mam, who was moved by seeing the life-like drawings in her hands
Carol communicated with me through the whole process, and did exactly what I hoped for when I asked if I could have collars on all 4 dogs, as 2 of the photographs used, they weren't wearing them.
