I'm a pet portrait artist who believes our animals are so much more than pets, they are our amazing companions and part of the family. I am owned by 5 King Charles Spaniels and a cat, I have also enjoyed having a horse in my life. I understand first hand how a slight look in the eye, or  how they hold their ear makes them not just any pet but YOUR pet.

I work in oils, watercolour, gouache or pen to create portraits that capture not just how an animal looks, but their individual personality and relationship they share with their people. I always look for details that makes an animal instantly recognisable to the person who loves them. Uniquely I  offer music as a background and will work with you to find a piece related to their name, character or a favourite piece of your own.

My love of animals has always been at the heart of my work, alongside my fascination with the natural world and the stories animals bring into our lives.

I work from photographs to create paintings, including memorial portraits that celebrate the lasting place a much-loved animal holds in a family's heart.
