Linda Edward Artworks

I am Linda, a Wirral based artist with a focus on animal paintings and pet portraits in particular. Largely self-taught, my interest and education in art has been life-long. From an early age I loved drawing & painting but beyond A level I didn't pursue my passion for painting until my family had grown up. I was then able to commit more time to developing skills and new techniques. I work in oils on canvas, using only artist quality materials. My style combines elements of realism with looser, expressive brush marks. Capturing expression in the eyes and character of my subject is a challenge and delight. I have exhibited and sold work locally and nationally and my work has featured in Artists & Illustrators magazine. I am a member of the Association of Animal Artists.
